Freesat Installation & Services
Freesat is a great alternative to Freeview, which Clearview is fully qualified and trained to install on your behalf. Same day Freesat installations are available in Norwich and Norfolk to give you easy access to all the additional benefits that Freesat can bring.
Whilst Freeview works through a tv aerial, Freesat requires a dish. Using a dish gives you access to greater bandwidth, which means a better signal for your television. This can be helpful if you’re in an area of Norfolk that is built up or obstructed by trees or a dip in the land. All of these elements can compromise your reception quality when using Freeview but are not an issue with Freesat (which is receivable within 99% of Norfolk).
What Do You Get with Freesat?
Freesat brings you over 200 great digital TV and radio channels and if you have Freesat built into your TV or a HD freesat box then you can also access their HD programmes. There are a few more channels in the Freesat package than Freeview, including ITV EAST HD, which might make it a better fit for your family.
We supply approved Freesat satellite systems and can advise on what would work best for your household. Which we’re happy to lead you through.
On selected Freesat+ boxes, you might see the Freetime logo, which is a new TV guide that is built into Freesat. The Freetime guide allows you to go back in time to watch programs you have missed. To take advantage of Freetime you’ll need a 5 meg minimum broadband connection.
You can now connect your Freesat service to the BBC iPlayer and ITV Player so you never miss your favourite shows. To access these utilities, your internet router will need to be connected to your Freesat Box, which Clearview can take care of. We can set up and configure your service so that you don’t have to worry.
